Sunday School Classes for Winter/Spring 2008:

Divine Harmony: A Study of Bach's Mass in B Minor -  Led by Larry Casey & Jim Pates.  Class will study this great work of art and what it means for out faith.  Undercroft.

Listen to the Lectionary - Led by Hugh Muir.  This class will study the lectionary readings and how they are interpreted through the liturgy and music in worship.  Church House dining room.

Thoughtful Christian - Led by Tom Lewis, Lydia Collett, Bill Remsen, Bruce Leek & Gene Bingham.  How does the Christian today respond to the complicated and controversial issues that create divisions among us?  How do movies and books give us insights to help us in our faith journey?  How have people in the past dealt with issues and debates on theological issues?  Using an internet based curriculum that produces new topics on a weekly basis, the class will explore many topics for 1 to 3 sessions.  Church House, first floor.

Christian Marriage - Led by Steve & Linda Spratt, Pete & Jane Kolakowski, Tom & Sally Edwards, and Bruce & Bridget Harvey. This class is for engaged couples, newly weds and veterans of marriage who want to continue to grow closer together and in their relationship with God.  Middle House, 2nd floor, back room.

Bible 101 - The New Testament - Led by Rod Hughes & Steve Johnson.  Class will continue their overview of of the New Testament using the Bible, Don Grigg's The Bible from Scratch - The New Testament for Beginners, and other resources. Participants will gain a refreshing and solid understanding of the New Testament and what it means for our lives today.  Middle House, front room.

Practicing Our Faith - How do we live faithful lives each day, building a closer relationship with God and each other?  Each week we will explore a new topic led by a different person (listed below). Middle House, 1st floor.
